Every lesson is adapted to what you need, but a typical one-hour session follows this structure:
10 minutes – Recap
20 minutes – New topic
Review the previous session, tackle any difficult homework problems, and consolidate what we’ve learned before moving on.
Learn a new topic through clear, worked examples that we work through together. Complex concepts are broken down into manageable steps, with a focus on exactly what the SQA expects.
25 minutes – Practice
5 minutes – Review
Work through increasingly challenging problems before progressing to real exam-style and past paper questions. I’ll explain exactly where and how marks are awarded, helping you understand what examiners are looking for.
Recap the key concepts and address any sticking points. I’ll then set a small number of targeted practice questions to reinforce what we’ve covered before the next session.
